What This Notice Covers
This Cookie Notice explains how Samsagram uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels) when Creators, Subscribers, and visitors use the Samsagram website and dashboard. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
This notice does not cover Telegram itself. Telegram's own apps and bots operate under Telegram's own privacy and cookie practices, which Samsagram does not control.
Types of Cookies We Use
Functional and preference cookies
Remember choices you've made, such as language, dashboard layout, or dismissed notices, so you don't have to reset them on every visit.
Analytics and performance cookies
Help us understand how the dashboard and site are used, in aggregate, so we can find broken flows, slow pages, or confusing steps and fix them.
Payment and fraud-prevention cookies
Set by Samsagram or our payment processors to distinguish legitimate checkout sessions from automated or fraudulent ones, and to reduce false declines and chargebacks.
Strictly necessary cookies
A small set of cookies are required for the Platform to function at all — keeping you signed in, remembering items in an active checkout session, and enforcing basic security protections. These cannot be switched off, because the dashboard and payment flow cannot operate without them; they don't require consent under most cookie laws for that reason.
Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on Samsagram are set by third parties who provide services on our behalf, not by Samsagram directly:
- Payment processors — set cookies during checkout to process payments securely and screen for fraud
- Identity verification (KYC) vendors — may set cookies during the verification flow to complete a document or liveness check session; these do not store your ID or selfie itself in a cookie, only a session reference
- Analytics providers — set cookies to measure aggregate usage of the website and dashboard
These third parties operate under their own privacy and cookie practices in addition to this notice. We choose providers that are contractually required to use cookie data only to provide the relevant service to Samsagram, not for their own independent advertising purposes.
Referral Attribution Cookies
If you arrive at Samsagram through a Referral Program participant's link, we set a cookie to record which referral link was used. This cookie is what allows us to correctly attribute a qualifying registration, bot setup, and paid subscription back to the right Referrer, as described in our Terms of Service for Third Parties.
This cookie only tracks attribution, not browsing activity
The referral cookie records the referral code and the date it was set — it is not used to track your activity elsewhere on the web, and is not shared with the Referrer themselves. It expires automatically, as described in the table below, even if you don't complete a signup.
Cookie Duration at a Glance
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session / login | Keeps you signed in during a visit | Ends when you close your browser |
| Referral attribution | Records which referral link was used | Up to 30 days |
| Preference | Remembers dashboard settings and dismissed notices | Up to 1 year |
| Analytics | Measures aggregate site and dashboard usage | Up to 1 year |
| Payment / fraud-prevention | Distinguishes legitimate checkout sessions from fraudulent ones | Set by payment processor, typically the length of the checkout session |
How to Control Cookies
- Use the cookie preference banner shown on your first visit to accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and preference cookies)
- Change or withdraw your preference at any time from the cookie settings link in the site footer
- Use your browser's own settings to block or delete cookies generally; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and checkout from working
- Note that declining referral attribution cookies means a valid referral may not be correctly credited to the Referrer who shared the link
Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time, for example when we add a new analytics or payment provider. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and, where required by law, we will ask for renewed consent.
